Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Plessage collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our social media management workspace.

1. Information we collect

We may collect account information you provide, such as your name, email address, workspace details, and support communications. When you connect a social media account, we receive information and permissions authorized through that platform's OAuth process. We may also process content you upload or create, scheduling information, media, analytics, and technical information such as browser, device, IP address, and service logs.

2. Connected social accounts

Plessage uses access tokens and permissions granted by you to provide features you request, such as connecting accounts, publishing or scheduling content, reading account or channel information, and displaying performance data. Plessage does not ask for or store your social platform password.

Google and YouTube data

When you connect a Google or YouTube account, Plessage accesses Google user data only for the features you authorize and request. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is intended to comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can revoke Plessage's access from your Google Account permissions.

3. How we use information

4. How information may be shared

We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, support, or operate Plessage, with the social platforms you choose to connect, or when required to comply with law or protect rights and safety. We do not give connected-account access to third parties for their independent use.

5. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect Plessage. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices

You can disconnect connected social accounts, revoke third-party permissions directly with the relevant platform, and contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information associated with your Plessage account, subject to applicable requirements.

7. Third-party services

Plessage integrates with third-party platforms such as Google, YouTube, Meta, TikTok, and other social services. Their own privacy policies and terms apply to information they process.

8. Children

Plessage is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Plessage evolves. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
